Notch Filter/ Band Stop Filter

Optical notch filter (also called band stop filter or band elimination filter) rejects specific narrow band of wavelength and transmits wide range of wavelength other than the rejected band with high transmittance. Specifications, including incident angle, rejected wavelength and bandwidth, can be designed in accordance with requirements.

Optical notch filter is applied to various optical equipment for measurement and analysis such as Laser Raman Spectroscopy in order to remove unnecessary laser wavelength from optical system.
